This concept is gently explored through vocations within the media industry.
Facial expressions, feelings and the body and emotions are revisited as an endeavour to understand peers and their intentions. Positive choices can be made about friendship and trust when one can interpret the look of a genuine smile and a smirk smile. This is coupled with learning about the type of language and events that can accompany facial expressions and gestures. Cultural rolls and identity, the portrayal of others, layers of meaning (both social and cultural) are analysed through developing inferential skills.
